General
Participants are responsible for their own common-sense safety when traveling abroad. Take the time to pick up a current travel guide from your local bookstore and read about customs, currency exchange, language, and culture.
International Retreats (Outside USA)
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. This deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, as it secures international lodging and logistics.
Balance Payments: The remaining balance is due in full 90 days prior to the retreat start date.
Cancellations & Transfers: All tuition payments are non-refundable. However, in the event of a documented medical emergency or a death in the immediate family, payments (excluding the initial deposit) may be transferred to a future Beloved Retreat within 12 months.
Inclusions: Prices include all scheduled meals, accommodations, and training certifications. Airfare, ground transportation (unless specified), and personal travel insurance are not included.
Domestic Retreats (Minnesota)
Payment: Full tuition is due at the time of reservation.
Refunds: * Cancellations made 30+ days prior to the start date: Full refund minus a $20 processing fee.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the start date: No refunds or transfers can be issued due to venue commitments.
Force Majeure (Unforeseeable Events)
In the event of border closures, war, pandemic, climate crisis, or “Acts of God” that render the retreat impossible to host:
Beloved Retreats will issue a refund of all recoverable costs (excluding the initial deposit) within 90 days
Please note that refunds are contingent upon the funds we are able to recoup from our international partners (hotels, local transport, etc.). Beloved Retreats is not responsible for losses incurred due to non-refundable third-party bookings.
Travel Insurance (Required Recommendation)
To protect your investment, we strongly recommend purchasing “Cancel for Any Reason” (CFAR) travel insurance. Most major airlines and providers like Allianz or World Nomads offer this. This is the only way to protect your flight costs and retreat tuition should you need to cancel outside of our protected windows.
If Beloved Retreats Cancels
While rare, Beloved Retreats reserves the right to cancel a retreat up to 90 days before the start date.
In this event, your full payment—including your deposit—will be refunded within 90 days.
Beloved Retreats is not responsible for any losses incurred due to non-refundable travel expenses (flights, extra hotel nights, etc.) booked by the guest. We advise waiting until the 90-day confirmation window has passed before booking non-refundable airfare.
